The field for the 2025 Wyndham Championship is set and as strong as it's ever been from Adam Scott to Jordan Spieth and fellow past major winner Hideki Matsuyama.

Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, will welcome several notable names looking to improve their position heading into the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Since the creation of the FedEx Cup in 2007, the Wyndham Championship has been the final event of the FedEx Cup regular season, and only the top 70 in the season-long standings will advance to Memphis for the first of three playoff events.

Rickie Fowler, who enters the week at No. 61, made the cut at the 3M Open so he likely will survive the cut off for the top 70 but he still has work to do if he intends to move on to the second playoff event, the BMW Championship, which is limited to the top 50.

Tom Kim, a past champion at the Wyndham in 2022, missed the cut at the 3M Open and fell to No. 89, so will need a big week to make the playoffs. So, too, will Scott, No. 85, and Max Homa, who sits at No. 106.

Spieth (50th), Matsuyama (23), Tony Finau (60), Matt Fitzpatrick (43), Robert MacIntyre (15) and Keegan Bradley (10) are among the players guaranteed to be walking to Memphis next week but have other incentives for playing, including to enhance their Ryder Cup aspirations.
