British filmmaker Ben Wheatleys new crime thriller Normal will have its world premiere at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival. Bob Odenkirk plays Ulysses, a substitute sheriff in a small, forgotten town who responds to a bank robbery, only to unknowingly uncover something far more explosive. Lionsgate and Universal Pictures Michael Jackson biopic Michael is officially moving to an April 24th 2026 global theatrical release, one that will include IMAX screens. A second movie about Jackson remains in development. [Source: Deadline]
Apollo 13
Ron Howards Apollo 13 is returning to cinemas on September 19th. The film will be presented in IMAX for the first time since its 2002 remastered release the very first Hollywood movie to be digitally remastered via IMAX DMR technology. Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise, Ed Harris, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton and Kathleen Quinlan co-starred in the film, which scored nine Oscar nominations.
