Bitget, a global cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 firm, held its Nigeria Community Education Day in Lagos as part of its Blockchain4Youth programme. The event took place at Cafe One in Ikate and drew over 80 participants, mainly young Nigerians interested in blockchain and digital finance.
The session opened with a discussion on the current state of crypto adoption in Nigeria. Speakers highlighted how young people can play a role in the sectors growth. Attendees explored deposit and withdrawal options, including card payments and peer-to-peer transfers, and were introduced to Bitgets merchant programme.
Live demonstrations of Bitgets core featuresspot and futures trading, copy trading, and conversionsoffered hands-on exposure. A question-and-answer segment, supported by giveaways, encouraged direct interaction with the platform.
Existing users from Lagos shared how Bitget helped them navigate crypto markets and build financial understanding. The event closed with informal networking and refreshments, giving participants a space to connect and exchange ideas.
This event is part of Bitgets wider strategy to support crypto education in underserved communities. Through grassroots efforts, the company hopes to create access to digital tools that can support long-term financial inclusion and economic participation.
