Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed have both put together strong campaigns on the LIV Golf circuit this year.
Both players have achieved a win on LIV Golf this season. Together, theyve secured four top-10 finishes in major tournaments, leading to increased calls for their inclusion in the Ryder Cup.
Over the past six months, there have been various points where DeChambeau and Reed were mentioned as potential picks for the US team.
DeChambeaus case is a bit different from Reeds, though. He currently sits inside the top six on the US points list.
In fact, captain Keegan Bradley has already stated that DeChambeau will be part of the team heading to Bethpage Black in September.

Eamon Lynch recently warned Bradley that picking Reed would be a huge mistake. On the other hand, fans and players are overwhelmingly in favour of DeChambeau making the team.
Reed was asked if he thinks DeChambeau should be part of Team USA, and he didnt hesitate to back him. He said: He will bring all he has. He will be out there grinding and you know there is no quit in Bryson, so that is something you always look for.
At the same time he can make that golf course pretty short, so whether its best ball or alternate shot, there are a lot of strengths and advantages for him being on the team.
Hopefully we can do our job of going out to be in position to be picked and he will bring both of us out there to help the US keep the cup.
DeChambeau is already locked in for Bethpage, but Reeds chances are looking slim at best.

The 34-year-old earned the nickname Captain America for good reason, boasting a career record of seven wins, three losses and two halves. Hes always thrived in team settings.
Asked if he sees himself deserving a place on the team, Reed responded:
You never know. I have talked to him a little bit. I just know that the easiest way for me to get on that team is to get out there and continue playing some good golf.
If I can continue to have opportunities late on Sunday to win golf tournaments that will continue to give me an opportunity to get on the team.
But really its up to me to go out and play solid golf and hope to get a captains pick.
When asked if he could bring something extra to the team at Bethpage, Reed replied:
For sure. Being a guy who has actually won there at Bethpage and also at the same time knowing how intense the crowds can be, for both sides. They love winners, they love to get behind guys that are winning golf tournaments and guys that are leading, so you have to have a certain type of personality and mental strength to go out there and compete. I feel like what I have done in Ryder Cups and my record in there has been really solid.
Because of that I feel like I bring a lot of extra energy and also passion that they like to see out there in Bethpage.
