man you are downplaying it now exactly what we did with “just 4 games”

This makes interesting reading 17 months on, @Millionski, and you will see that I far from downplayed it.

My comments were as follows:

Comment 25: I replied to @Kaloudz, but his comment seems to have been deleted. However, from what I wrote, it is clear that Kaloudz had said that neither Indiana Jones nor Starfield were going to be ported, to which I replied that was not what Spencer had said. I'll take two points for that!

Comment 27: I predicted that Indiana Jones and Starfield would be ported and that they could be games 5 and 6. So I was spot on with Indiana Jones! I'll take two points for this, one for rightly predicting that Indiana Jones would be ported, and one for predicting it would be game 5. I won't claim a point just yet for Starfield, but I think it is in the bag at the beginning of next year.

Comment 29: I replied to @themightyant and spoke of Microsoft 'considering' porting games such as Gears and Halo, and hey, what do you know! 😉 I'll take one point for now for Gears of War. I'll have to wait a little longer for my point for Halo, but I think it will be coming pretty soon.

Comment 40: I said that Starfield would go over 18 months, but it looks like that will now be more like 24 months, so I'll just take half a point for that. I also said that Indiana Jones would be 12 to 18 months after release, and in fact it was only 5, so do I get a point for that too? Alright then, half a point...! 😂

Comment 41: This is what I said there (again I was talking to Kaloudz, but his comment has been deleted):

Personally, I think the much rumoured Marcus Fenix Trilogy exists, and that once it releases, it will cross over to the PlayStation 12 to 18 months later, maybe even sooner. I could actually see a simultaneous release on both platforms.

Mark my words, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded and Sea of Thieves are simply Phase One. There will be many more phases to follow, most likely starting 3 to 6 months after Phase One commences. Every single Xbox exclusive has the possibility of being included within those subsequent phases.

So I was right about the remaster of Gears of War, albeit that it seems that Microsoft want to milk the remasters and release them individually. I was right though about the game releasing day and date on the PlayStation.

This sentence in particular though is particularly striking, and again, I was right: Mark my words, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded and Sea of Thieves are simply Phase One..

I'd say that lot is worthy of at least two points...! Giving me a grand total of 7 points, which I would say makes me a pretty good Mystic Meg. 😂

Anyway, my point is that I did foresee the future that Microsoft would take, and I feel as certain about the path that Sony will take, and just to spell it out so that we can circle back to it in two years time, Sony will not release any of their big beasts on the Xbox. It will just be Live Service and smaller licenced games. Not Spiderman. Not The Last of Us. Not Days Gone. Not Uncharted. Not Ghost of Tsusihma. And not Ghost of Yotei. Sorry to all those that would like to see it happen, but sadly it won't...
