  • The game will be developed in partnership with blockchain game platform Mythical Games
  • It is scheduled for release in 2025

NFT project Pudgy Penguins continues to explore more ways to interact with its fans and has announced a mobile game known as Pudgy Party. Created in partnership with gaming firm Mythical Games, Pudgy Party is scheduled for release in 2025 and will be available to iOS and Android users. The NFT project wants to use the game to bring its community together using shared rewards and an inclusive “joyful experience,” making it another way the project is reaching out to its community outside of NFTs.

Gamers Will Navigate Unique Obstacles

According to an announcement , Pudgy Party will be a multiplayer game allowing players to engage in a global setting. Gamers will have the option to curate strategies to “navigate a unique obstacle course and aim for the top shot.”

The game has different modes including a friends and family mode. It will also feature customizable penguins allowing gamers to adapt them to their personality. Pudgy Party will cater to both experienced and inexperienced gamers.

Pudgy Party’s launch timeframe comes five months after Pudgy Penguins and Mythical Games announced they were working to create a mobile game. The game will serve as another step by the NFT project to attract and engage its fans outside the collectibles space.

Physical Pudgy Penguins Already Available

Last year, for example, Pudgy Penguins unveiled physical toys featuring figures in the NFT collection, with the toys available for purchase in Walmart stores across the United States. Other NFT collections like CryptoPunk have also in the past allowed holders to purchase physical versions of their holdings .

With the Pudgy Penguins NFT project expanding its offerings outside collectibles, it’s to be seen whether other similar projects will follow the same path to keep their communities engaged.
