TXTs new album is already a million-seller!
On July 21 at 6 p.m. KST, TXT made their highly-anticipated comeback with their fourth full-length album The Star Chapter: TOGETHER and its emotional title track Beautiful Strangers.
According to Hanteo Chart, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER sold an impressive total of 1,428,097 copies on its first day of sales alone. Notably, the album managed to come close to the sales that TXTs previous mini album The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY recorded in its entire first week (1,579,339) in just one day.
The Star Chapter: TOGETHER is TXTs sixth consecutive album to sell over 1 million copies in the first week of its release: the group previously achieved the feat with minisode 2: Thursdays Child, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, The Name Chapter: FREEFALL, minisode 3: TOMORROW, and The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY.
Additionally, by 8 a.m. KST on July 22, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 19 different regions, including Japan, Chile, and Hong Kong. Beautiful Strangers also reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least nine different regions, including Chile and Cambodia.
The Star Chapter: TOGETHER also made a strong start on the domestic music charts: by midnight KST on July 22, all eight songs from the album had entered both Melons Top 100 and Bugs realtime chartand by 1 a.m. KST, they were all charting on Genie as well. Beautiful Strangers also reached No. 2 on Bugs realtime chart at 9 p.m. KST on July 21, and it hit No. 29 on Melons Top 100 at midnight KST on July 22.
