Take photo of your bag(s) when traveling whether local or international&e get why.

Taking photo of your bags isnt only for grams or show off, but they could serve as evidence as well if needed.

Something happened last month while I was going to Japan last month.

People who followed my journey would know the shge Promax my eyes saw while on transit at Qatar due to the attcks that happened at that time.

The queues were long&over 100 flights were canceled.

We were just over plenty at the airport.

Ive been dragging my carry-on luggage > with me oooooo until it got to the time while I had to leave it by my seat to go listen to my name and receive my accommodation details provided by Qatar airways in Doha.

By the time I was back, my bag and water bottle were no longer there(this particular one in the first slide)&kindly note I was near the seat ooooo&within 20mins.

Ori mi ko ko fo lo na&.I asked a new person sitting on my seat, she said she didnt see it.

I went to meet one of the airport securities. He asked me to show him photo of my bag. He called and described the bag to the person he was talking to. He told me my bag is with lost and found team.

I went to the place which was so far away ehn.

I was asked to show them the photo of my bag as he no dey carry tags unlike check-in bags.

I was given my bags then was taken to the hotel provided for me.

I remembered when something similar happened in Paris. I dont know how I forgot my carry-on luggage and carried my 2 check-in bags.

Someone was sent to pick me by the UNESCO Nigeria team&we were almost at the UNESCO headquarters where the exhibition took place when I remembered I didnt take my hand luggage.

I was frustrated at the airport that day. That UNESCO incident&soup poured all over the products I was going to showcase. Only God knows the person who carried cooked soup. It was a terrible incident that day.

We had to turn back and it was the photo on my phone that made it easy to retrieve.

Trust me, some frstrating moments at the airport will make you forget your name and your country of origin

At times, without photo evidence, you go shalaye tire&especially when the people youre reporting to dont speak the same language as you.

By the way, have ever experienced missing of your bag or forgetting them&what helped you in retrieving them?

Lets learn together d

Me, I dont joke with photo sha&I dont even post some but I love to capture every moments.

Something similar that happened here when I was sending some Planet 3R products to a client in Abuja and we always take photo of the package especially when sending through bus as those drivers can be funny. If youve experienced their whla before, you would understand what Im saying.

On that very faithful day, we already took the photo after wrapping it, but unfortunately it rained and the person I sent to park had to buy another nylon to put inside. Thank God I already imbibe the culture of taking photos in them. He took the photo after putting inside nylon but phone number was now inside the new nylon. The package got to Abuja, but the person didnt receive a call from the park. We called the driver and he said he dropped it with one of the people that help people collect package at the park. Thats how our amazing client went there with the photo sent to her to retrieve the package.

Update: from some comments&I understand what some of you mean but because they usually announced it at the airport self&pray you dont reach the level of frstration one day.

I mean the kind of stress that make you forget yourself. Im someone who carry my bag enter toilet by the WC. I no dey leave my bag for any reason. Besides, my bag was locked with codes sha. Ive been traveling many times and Ive only experienced this twice. So, Im not a JJC.

Besides, you can lose anything at the airport¬ just only bag. Having Photos or details of what you cant prove will go a long way.
