Blake Lively is almost as well known for her style as she is for her film career, and of her fashion moments, her themed looks are often her best.

Lively is typically a favorite at the Met Gala, as she always seems to understand how to embrace the event's dress code while still putting fashion at the forefront of her looks.

Lively also loves method dressing, when an actor wears pieces that pay homage to the character they play in the film as they promote it.

For instance, Lively wore an array of playful suits when she promoted "A Simple Favor" in 2018, and she isn't the only actor to embrace the trend. Zendaya wore looks inspired by her films to promote both "Challengers" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home," and Margot Robbie made a splash with her "Barbie" outfits in 2023.

Now, Lively is promoting "It Ends With Us," a film adaptation of Collen Hoover's book of the same name. Lively plays the protagonist, Lily Bloom, who owns a flower shop in the story.

To nod to the character, Lively has worn an array of floral-inspired looks in the lead-up to the film, which opens in theaters on August 9.

Take a look at the flowery looks Lively has worn so far, ranked from least to most stylish.

Lively mixed patterns for an appearance on Sunday, but it was a bit too much.

Lively's Christopher John Rogers ensemble featured a polka-dot top that flowed to the floor, floral cargo pants, and a coordinating jacket.

The pieces were beautiful on their own but overwhelmed each other when put together.

The contrast of the Versace look she wore on Saturday was harsh.

Lively's head-to-toe Versace look featured a short red dress covered in flowers and coordinating yellow tights. The dress and tights were sheer, and Lively completed the look with red shoes.

The red dress would have popped on its own, but the yellow tights contrasted the look too much.

Feathers dominated a dress Lively wore on July 31.

Lively wore several looks designed by Dauphinette while promoting "It Ends With Us," including a blue sheath dress adorned with heavenly imagery.

The bottom of the skirt featured tiers of multicolored feathers, which became the focal point of the whole look. Coordinating Christian Louboutin pumps tied it all together.

It was a fun look, but the feathers didn't feel as on theme as some of Lively's other looks.

The floral detailing on the Stella McCartney jeans Lively wore on Monday stood out, but they didn't strike the right tone.

Lively stepped out in a more casual ensemble amid her press for the film, donning a latex tank top and Stella McCartney jeans.

The jeans featured black chaps with floral embroidery. Though the flowers fit with the other looks Lively wore to promote the film, the Western feel of the ensemble seemed a bit out of place.

Pink was the star of the outfit Lively wore to the Betty Blooms pop-up on Saturday.

Lively donned Dauphinette's Doris minidress to attend a Betty Blooms pop-up in honor of "It Ends With Us." The hot-pink dress featured sparkly embellishments on the bodice, which coordinated with the floral embroidery on the pink Péro coat she wore atop the dress.

She added Malone Souliers shoes with bow detailing on the toes to the monochromatic look.

Flowers in her braid tied it all together.

Lively didn't wear a top with a matching floral set on Monday.

On Instagram, Dauphinette founder Olivia Z. Cheng said that the flower-covered leather jacket and shorts Lively sported were from her personal archive.

The ensemble blended the whimsy of a floralscape with the sexy edge of leather.

Lively rocked another bold floral ensemble at Book Bonanza on June 14.

Lively appeared alongside "It Ends With Us" author Colleen Hoover at Book Bonanza on June 14 in Texas.

She wore a semi-sheer black dress designed by Balmain. Buttons lined the center of the dress, which Lively wore open on top, revealing a black bra.

The bottom of the dress was covered in floral embroidery, contrasting the sexy vibe of the rest of the look.

She rocked another shirtless look with a Chanel suit on June 10.

The form-fitting jacket and wide-legged pants featured a pattern of multicolored flowers with the Chanel logo in the same color scheme.

The look felt both chic and playful.

Lively nodded to her film after the premiere of "Deadpool & Wolverine" on July 22.

Lively accompanied her husband, Ryan Reynolds, to the premiere of "Deadpool & Wolverine."

She wore a red jumpsuit to the film itself, but for the after-party, she donned a blue minidress designed by Balmain. The skirt's trim and hem were wrapped in red fabric, and an oversize floral appliqué adorned both.

Lively accessorized the look with red pumps and a red floral hairpiece.

The vintage Christian Dior suit she wore on Monday featured a subtle floral pattern.

Lively tapped into Christian Dior's vaults for one of her floral looks, choosing a blue suit set from its fall 1997 collection.

The single-button jacket and mini-skirt both featured a daisy pattern, and Lively wore a floral clutch with the look. Once again, she wore no top with her suit jacket.

Lively also embraced a semi-sheer look to celebrate the film on Monday.

Lively put a sparkly spin on florals in a relaxed ensemble by Versace.

A pink bra and briefs served as the base of the look, which Lively paired with a floral chainmail top and light-wash jeans adorned with sparkles.

Her open-toe pink shoes also had floral appliqué, so the look was on theme without being over the top.

Sequin fabric made a look Lively wore on July 31 pop.

Lively tapped Dauphinette again for a sparkly take on florals, which she wore to promote "It Ends With Us" and for the Blake Brown Beauty launch party.

Her white minidress featured blue florals and a yellow and red trim, a color scheme that was echoed on the ombré, sequin-covered jacket she paired with the look.

Red shoes and a mushroom-shaped clutch completed the look.

The outfit Lively wore to a surprise film screening on June 15 looked relaxed, but the jeans have a hefty price tag.

Lively took a more casual approach to a floral-inspired outfit when she attended a surprise premiere of the film in June. She paired a white tank top with Valentino jeans featuring cutouts in the shape of flowers.

People reported that the jeans cost $19,000.

A two-piece covered in flowers that Lively wore on Monday was among her most eye-catching looks.

Lively paired Dauphinette's $140 Olive tank, which was black and covered with flowers, with a skirt from Cheng's personal archive.

The midi-length, high-waisted skirt hugged Lively's figure and was also covered in floral appliqué.

The floral detailing on the blue-on-blue look Lively wore on Saturday covered her look from head to toe.

Walking down a street in New York City, Lively paired a light-blue top with darker blue Chanel pants. The short-sleeve shirt was covered in sparkly white flowers, and the pants were entirely made of a blue flower pattern.

Blue Louboutin shoes and a silver flower-shaped clutch, also designed by Chanel, complemented the look.

The ball gown Lively wore to the Copenhagen premiere of "It Ends With Us" had a regal look.

Atelier Versace designed the strapless dress Lively wore to promote the film in Denmark.

The bodice almost looked like a tiara, with jewels covering the top in a crested pattern. It flowed into an exposed corset bodice with sheer paneling on her waist.

The skirt was covered in a swirling array of blue and gold florals that almost looked painted on the dress. She didn't wear a necklace with the look, drawing attention to the neckline.

The pink minidress Lively wore to the "It Ends With Us" premiere after-party on Tuesday featured a corset bodice.

The corset bodice on the Versace minidress was exposed, featuring ruching that cinched at her waist.

The skirt swooshed around Lively's thighs, with lace in a subtle floral pattern trimming the hem.

She paired the bright dress with pink Christian Louboutin heels that featured sparkles and floral dangly earrings.

A vintage Vivienne Westwood dress struck the perfect tone for Lively's "Live with Kelly and Mark" appearance on July 31.

A 1994 Vivienne Westwood dress sourced from Tab Vintage was one of the best looks Lively wore to promote "It Ends With Us."

The white halter-style dress was fitted in the bodice and featured tiers of ruffled fabric on the ankle-length skirt. A pattern of flowers and greenery adorned the dress, giving it a timeless look.

Lively wore an Oscar de la Renta minidress that seemed designed specifically for the tour on Saturday.

The strapless dress had a pointed neckline that flared on each side.

Textured floral appliqué created an ombré pattern and adorned the sheer fabric that made up the dress, which cinched delicately at her waist.

Lively wore strappy heels and long earrings with the dress.

Lively's look for the UK premiere of the film was full of color.

The actor wore a Tamara Ralph look for the UK premiere of "It Ends With Us."

The sparkly mesh dress had a strapless neckline that plunged in the center, and the bodice was adorned with three-dimensional florals that cascaded down her body.

A feathered, red cape sat off Lively's shoulders, bringing glamour to the look.

Lively wore her most stylish floral suit to date at a photocall in London on Thursday.

For her first London appearance for "It Ends With Us," Lively donned a white suit from Stella McCartney's Resort 2025 collection.

The oversize jacket and wide-legged trousers were both adorned with floral embroidery, and sheer underwear with floral appliqué peeked out from underneath the pants. Lively again wore no top with the jacket, and strappy heels completed the look.

The suit struck the perfect balance between floral and chic.

And for the New York premiere of the film on Tuesday, Lively paid homage to Britney Spears in a vintage Versace gown.

Lively arrived at the premiere of "It Ends With Us" in a figure-hugging Versace dress that Britney Spears wore in 2002.

The subtly sheer gown featured an asymmetrical neckline that plunged in the center, and it was covered in a pattern of multicolored shapes, including flowers.

The hem fluttered at Lively's ankles, showing off shiny, strappy heels.

Lively posted a photo of Spears in the dress on her Instagram story, commending "the ultimate queen who made us all want to sparkle, write, and share our stories" on the photo.

"Britney, us millennials all have a story of a moment, or of years that you made us want to shine and inspire awe, with strength, and joy and immensely hard work," she continued. "Thank you for your example and your contribution to women telling their stories. So excited about your biopic and all you have to come."
